For the past 3 years she has now worked for a parts supplier for Toyota and finds that she has really found her niche working with this type of athlete.

Tyson is available on site for all 3 shifts so she can provide immediate assessments and provide treatment programs so that team members can stay on the job and reduce WSIB claims. Tyson proactively works to prevent injuries onsite by observing how team members carry out their job functions and making recommendations on what stretches and exercises would best serve them in reducing the chance of experiencing discomfort.  In addition to that, Tyson also completes ongoing ergonomic assessments (or PDAs) and audits the pre-shift stretching that she implemented and is always actively looking for more ways to improve outcomes for the team members.

When Tyson finds time, she still likes to stay sharp by working on the field. She frequently works with football and volleyball in the area and will fit it into her schedule whenever she can. When she’s not working, Tyson also serves on the board for a local dog rescue and works hard to find homes for the dogs that are overwhelming shelters since the Pandemic ended. She has 2 rescue dogs of her own that keep her active and is newly married as well.
