Anne Hartley - Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (Concussion) Assessment and Treatment: A dynamic course designed for the therapist who wants to learn new manual skills and exercises to assess and treat mild traumatic brain injuries or concussions. The anatomy and physiology of concussions and the related dysfunctions will be reviewed. The visual, vestibular, autonomic nervous system and cervicogenic concussions will be discussed. Assessment tools and manual treatment techniques and exercises will be given.
Michael Boni - Craniovertebral Region - A Manual Therapy Approach: This course is a practical and interactive 1 day workshop with an emphasis on clinical application of manual therapy skills relating to the craniovertebral region. It will provide an overview of the craniovertebral anatomy, biomechanics and dysfunctions and allow the participant to gain practical clinical assessment knowledge of the craniovertebral region. The participant will also learn how to clinically treat craniovertebral joint dysfunctions using mobilization and muscular control retraining techniques.
Knowledge Café: Candidates are encouraged to sign up for a minimum of 3 sessions and up to a maximum of 5.
