KNEE SUMMIT 2019
According to the Canadian Joint Replacement Registry (CJRR), hip and knee replacement surgeries are growing annually at 123,000+ cases and are important to the health and mobility of our aging population.
Hip replacements are the third most common surgeries and knee replacements are the second most common surgeries according to the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.
The OATA held a Hip Summit in 2018. In March 2019 the focus is on a Knee Summit examining all aspects of knee care – surgery prevention, reconstruction, injectibles, replacements and rehabilitation.
